The gap

Nobody postpones a building because they like the old one

A farmer who decides to modernise today spends six to eight months finding a designer, three to six months on permits and up to two years on site, and ends with a building that reports nothing about what happens inside it

Piecemeal upgrades rarely work, because a 1970s shed was never dimensioned for modern ventilation plant, has no continuous vapour barrier and cannot carry an automated feeding line on its electrical installation. Each improvement triggers work on the element beneath it, and the cumulative bill approaches the cost of a new building with the operation interrupted for a season

0 % Of the harvest lost each year in outdated storage, against 0.5 to 1 percent in a monitored silo Grain

Delivery

The permit runs while the building is being made

A ModuVerte facility is not commissioned as a design. It is selected from a catalogue of complete, pre‑engineered configurations, which turns every order from an engineering project into a manufacturing order. That is where the time goes

Stages two and three overlap, and that overlap is the whole compression: modules are built while the file sits with the authority, so the facility arrives on site ready to be connected rather than ready to be started  6 to 10 weeks from permit to handover
Architecture

Three layers, designed as one system

The layers can be separated for procurement and fabrication, never for design. A silo that cannot respond to what its instruments report converts an invisible loss into a visible one, which is progress but not a solution

Complete modules fabricated to a tolerance of plus or minus one millimetre and assembled on site like building blocks. The frame is dimensioned to Eurocode 1 and Eurocode 3 with the equipment loads of the finished facility already included, so a later addition never means reinforcement

  • Hot dip galvanised
  • Insulated sandwich panel
  • Foundation variant from the soil survey
  • Plus or minus 1 mm

Every system is specified and routed inside the BIM model before anything is cut, so penetrations, supports and cable trays are made at the factory rather than improvised on site. An error caught in the model costs an hour, and the same error caught on site costs a season of production

  • Heating and ventilation
  • Automatic feeding
  • Automatic watering
  • Dimmable lighting
  • Grain aeration

Adding a digital layer to an existing building costs between 15 000 and 40 000 euro and up to four weeks of installation. Built into the module at the factory, it costs nothing beyond the price of the facility, and the farmer sees the building on a phone from the day it is commissioned

  • Wired sensor bus
  • Edge control logic
  • Cellular fallback
  • Live from day one
Products

Two facilities you can order, and one in design

Configuration is limited to the parameters that do not force the structural model to be recalculated: length in module steps, insulation grade, ventilation band, sensor package and the green energy option

Available to order MODULE STEP 6 m 10 000 BIRDS PER ROTATION

ModuAviculture‑50

Modular poultry housing for roughly 50 000 birds a year across five rotations, built to the stocking density set by EU Directive 2007/43/EC

  • Floor area1 200 m²
  • Assembly8 weeks
  • TurnkeyEUR 220 000 to 280 000
  • Built inClimate, feeding, watering, manure removal, dimmable lighting
  • SensorsTemperature, humidity, CO₂, NH₃, water, feed, activity, energy
  • Energy35% below a comparable building of the 1990s

Feed consumption falls by 8 to 12% under optimal climate conditions and mortality by 15 to 20% against an older building, which at this throughput is 30 000 to 50 000 euro a year

Available to order AERATION FLOOR 12 MEASUREMENT POINTS

ModuSilo‑1000

Grain storage for 1 000 tonnes with twelve temperature points suspended through the grain mass, so the profile is read layer by layer rather than as a single average

  • Capacity1 000 t
  • Assembly4 to 5 weeks
  • TurnkeyEUR 95 000 to 130 000
  • StructureIndustrial steel silo, concrete slab, aeration floor
  • Sensors12 temperature points, humidity per level, fill level, ambient reference
  • ControlAeration fans switched on grain and ambient conditions

Storage losses fall from 2 to 6 percent down to 0.5 to 1%, because an insect or mould focus raises one point long before the bulk temperature moves

In design HYGIENE ZONING PER EU REGULATION

Modular slaughter and primary processing

Certified lines that let a farm or a cooperative process on site instead of paying logistics to an external abattoir, which raises the producer margin by 0.15 to 0.25 euro per kilogram of meat

This product carries the heaviest regulatory load of the three, so it follows the poultry house and the silo deliberately: the certification experience and the relationship with the veterinary authority come from the two simpler products first

Platform

An alert that fires too often stops being read

Our rules combine absolute thresholds with rate of change and, most usefully, divergence between neighbouring points. Move the day marker below and watch a hot spot develop inside a grain store

L4L3L2L1 AERATION FLOOR

Facility state

All points within band

Twelve points read within 0.4 degrees of each other, so the grain mass is uniform and no aeration is required

Spread 0.4 °C Warmest 14.6 °C Rule Divergence

Why divergence rather than a threshold

A fixed limit at 20 degrees would have fired on day six, once the focus had been growing for the better part of a week. The divergence rule fires on day three, while aeration can still fix it

Every alert, acknowledgement and resolution is logged, which gives the farm a record for insurance and for subsidy reporting

One screen for every building on the farm

The platform is the part of ModuVerte a client touches every day, and it is what turns a building into a relationship rather than a transaction

  • LiveTemperature, humidity, CO₂, NH₃, water, feed and energy for each building, with trends over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days
  • ReportA weekly analysis generated automatically, in the format a subsidy body or a grain buyer asks for
  • RecordAs built model, technical passport, warranties, certificates and subsidy documents held in one place
  • YoursExport in open formats at any time, and no sharing with third parties, because the operating data belongs to the client

Retrofit

Start with the building you already have

The platform is not restricted to facilities we build. A retrofit kit brings an existing building onto the same screen without touching its structure, and the whole installation takes a working day

  • Wireless sensor nodes placed where the readings matter, with no cabling through an occupied building
  • One gateway on the farm, connected over a fixed line where it exists and cellular where it does not
  • The same dashboard, the same alert rules and the same weekly report as a new facility
  • A thirty day demonstration on one building, so the first number you see is your own

Your numbers

What it is worth on your farm

A farmer does not buy a building, he buys the difference between what the farm earns with it and what it earns without it. Set your own figures below and the difference becomes arithmetic

PCAE covers up to 40 percent of facility cost, and our specification team prepares the file as part of the contract

Annual gain on the farm EUR 35 400 to 57 500 Feed, mortality and productivity, plus the energy saved by smart climate management
Effective cost after subsidy EUR 175 000 Turnkey facility at 250 000 euro, less the support applied above
Payback 3.0 to 5.0 years Against a traditional building at 500 000 to 600 000 euro with no monitoring and no energy improvement

Indicative figures based on published sector data and our own cost benchmark, offered to frame a conversation rather than to replace one

Accountability

Four gates, each signed by our own engineer

Fabrication sits with certified plants in France and assembly with accredited crews, while design, quality control and the digital integration never leave the company. The subcontractor answers to us, and we answer to the farmer

GATE 01

Design release

The model is frozen and clash detected, and no drawing leaves the office until this gate is closed

GATE 02

Factory acceptance

Every module measured against the model, welds inspected, coating thickness checked, sensor and cabling continuity tested

GATE 03

Site acceptance

Foundation survey, module alignment, torque records on structural connections, pressure and flow tests on water and ventilation
